Application Servers - High-end servers and server farms that provide organisations with a central application host server to which all users connect and run the application. This provides ease of maintenance (only one point for upgrading) and remote users do not have to have the application software loaded on their computers to run it.

Wireless Networking - Providing networks without wires, ideal for listed buildings, areas that are unsuitable to run cables, especially good for homes. Also can be used to bridge between buildings or remote sites providing “line of sight” is possible between the external antennas.

Voice-over-IP - This emerging technology allows you to send voice grade signals over an IP network – in short using the Internet or your own network to make your connection between parties rather than a conventional telephone system. Our equipment can be linked to an existing PABX switchboard to allow teleworkers and remote users to be extensions to the office telephone system for seamless call transfer without additional call charges.

Internet Hosting - Rock IT has dedicated web servers co-located in fully-managed operation centres in the central UK and London Docklands. We can provide excellent Unix and Windows hosting packages, domain name registration, email forwarding and POP3 mailboxes.
